We recommend comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sun protection, and a light rain jacket or umbrella. Even in summer, temperatures near Gergeti Trinity Church can be significantly cooler than in Tbilisi, so a warm layer is always a good idea.

Weather and road conditions in the mountains can occasionally affect access to certain locations. If part of the planned itinerary becomes inaccessible, we will adjust the route accordingly and provide a partial refund for any included services that cannot be delivered.

In clear weather, Mount Kazbek can be seen from Gergeti Trinity Church and from several viewpoints along the route. However, mountain weather changes quickly, and the summit is often hidden by clouds. Seeing Kazbek fully is always a bit of good luck and one of the most special moments of the trip.
